This bracelet started with a blank sheet of copper. I textured it with a hammer and added the sterling silver accents. The silver is actually melted into the copper to produce a faux retuculated look and texture. Then comes the flame painting part and that's when the magic happens.
No two pieces are alike because there are so many variables controlling the final outcome. This cuff ended up with warm hues of yellow gold and orange with just a hint of light green which contrast beautifully with the polished silver accents.
The cuff was sealed to protect the flame patina and slow down the process of oxidization.
