For Him - Large Crinoid Fossil Adjustable Necklace

Large, greenish-grey crinoid fossil necklace on a soft, adjustable light brown satin cord. Simple, earthy, strong - a perfect gift for dad, especially if he is a rock hound or interested in geology, fossils and minerals. It's full of crinoid fossils - creatures that inhabited the Great Lakes area millions of years ago in the Devonian Period.

The pebble is 1 7/8" x 1 5/8". I found it myself on one of my beach scouting trips on the south west shore of Lake Ontario. I scrubbed it with anti-bacterial soap and then sprayed it with a satin acrylic spray to preserve it but also to return that "wet pebble" look. Otherwise it has been left natural. The satin cord is super comfortable and adjustable from about 20" to really short - so it fits right around your neck.
